Hi!

I'm a hobby wildlife photographer based in Seattle, Washington. I've had a lifelong obsession with natural history, animal behavior, and conservation, and my absorption into photography followed pretty naturally. I also enjoy hiking and skiing badly in the beautiful Cascades, competitive dog agility, plants shaped like cups, and cooking. When I'm not belly-down in a swamp getting personal with goose droppings, you might be able to find me:

• accompanied by a couple of crazy corgis (and one honorary corgi)
• squelching through a creek with very wet socks
• gazing wistfully off into the middle distance from a rocky overlook
• repotting a neverending orchid collection
